The
following is as spoken by a speaker in a seminar -
" In my seminars, I often meet people who are going through testing times in life . Some unemployed , some underpaid and some still working hard to get a break in career. Despite there best attempts they have faced only rejection.
Under such situations, it is quite natural that one starts doubting his or her self-worth and feels that one does not deserve the great riches and wealth life has to offer."
He removed his wallet.
Said, " Take a look at this " he took out a crisp new Rs.1000 note and asked audience
"How many of you want this?"
Everybody raised their hands anxiosly.
"Good . Now suppose I were to fold this note and offer to you. Would you still want it ?"
Crowd roared "Yes"
"Excellent" he continued, "Noe suppose I were to crush this note in my hand and then offer it to you, would you still want it? "
Crowd said "Yes!!"
"Yes , Why not!" said everyone
"Now , I am going place this note on the floor and stamp on it with my shoe, would you still want it?"
"Yessss " they replied , feeling little irritated .
The speaker suddenly asked "WHY?"
One of the participant said " bcoz whether you fold it , or crush it, or stamp it, the value of the note is still the same."
Speaker eyes glittered. " This is exactly the point I want to convey. Please remember that each one of us is valuable, like this Rs. 1000 note. "
At times, Life can be really tough with us. It may squeeze us, dry us, crush us or even throw us in extremely tough times. But whatever life deals with us ....Our value remains the same ..
Never , ever discount your self-worth..
good one ... the way you dealt with moral of the story is really superb.
